Youth story in French
Award-winning story in the Aboriginal literary competition, organized by Éditions du Soleil de miduit. The purpose of this competition was to encourage literary creation in French among the First Nations and the Inuit, while making known the culture and contemporary life of these peoples. In the story for the youth Chasse en qimutsik, Joanassie Sivuarapik recounts a dog sledding excursion in northern Québec. We discover Nunavik, its beauties, its traditions, while crossing the tundra with a young Inuit woman and her father.
