Poetry collection in the form of Tweets by Aisa Warden
Collection of poetry first written on Twitter between November 24, 2013 and March 3, 2017 by Allison Akootchook Warden (now Aisa Warden). In a short, punchy style born of digital space, each poem stands as a parcel of memory, awareness or resistance. An Inupiaq poet and interdisciplinary artist, Warden interweaves the ancestral past with the disrupted present, bringing the voices of elders into dialogue with climate emergencies and decolonial realities. Through condensed language, imbued with the orality of rap and the gravity of indigenous knowledge, this collection is both political and sensitive, rooted in the North and looking to the future.
