Lecture by Aaju Peter on Inuktut, the language of the Inuit, during her visit to Montreal

On February 19th, 2019, Inuit activist, lawyer and designer Aaju Peter, born in Greenland and living in Nunavut, was the guest of the International Laboratory for Research on Images of the North, Winter and the Arctic at the Université du Québec à Montréal. At the invitation of professor Daniel Chartier, she gave a lecture on the Inuktut language — the common language of Inuit people — in a class on Indigenous languages given by professor Richard Compton.
