Poet, performer, throat-singer and curator Taqralik Partridge just published her first collection of poetry (in English, Inuktitut and French) curved against the hull of a peterhead.

In this first collection of poetry, the author brings together several poems that she has presented in recent years, most of them during “spoken word” or oral poetry evenings. Her poems describe colonization and violence, in a rich imagery that evokes the Inuit territory, family relationships and social observation.
